Playbook: Stand Up a 4-Week Creator Content Calendar
Owner: program manager. Cadence: planned monthly, locked weekly.
Phase 1: Columns (build once)
Creator | Platform | Asset type | Concept | Draft due | Approval due | Go-live | Tracking link | Status.
Phase 2: Backwards-plan each row.
— Go-live date is the anchor.
— Approval due = go-live minus 2 business days.
— Draft due = approval due minus 3 business days.
Never let a draft land same-day as publish.
Phase 3: Status discipline. One owner moves every row through: Briefed then Drafting then In review then Approved then Live then Reported. No row sits without a dated next action.
Phase 4: Friday review (15 min).
— Any row stuck 48h? Ping the owner.
— Any go-live within 3 days without 'Approved'? Escalate.
Checklist to call it live:
— Every active creator has 1+ row
— Every row has a tracking link before 'Live'
— Reported rows have results pasted by Monday
If it isn't on the calendar, it isn't happening.
