Myth: post daily to keep the community alive
Founder posting daily trains members to consume, not contribute. You become a broadcast channel with a comment section. The more you fill the room, the less space members feel they have to start something themselves.
The correction — Prompt Cadence over Content Cadence:
☐ Replace 'I post content' with 'I trigger member posts'
☐ Run 3 recurring prompts a week that require member answers
☐ Mon: a question. Wed: a 'show your work'. Fri: a win/loss thread
☐ Leave gaps — silence pulls members in to fill them
☐ Track member-posts-per-founder-post; target 5:1 or higher
A community is a place where members talk to each other. If removing your posts makes the room go quiet, you built an audience, not a community.
