Myth: jump on trending audio the second it trends
Caught this last month. By the time an audio is officially "trending" in the panel, it's already saturated — every creator in your niche posted it.
What actually worked for me: audio at 5k-40k uses, climbing but not exploded. Rode one at 12k uses, it hit 80k while my Reel was live.
The correction: don't chase the arrow, catch the climb.
Now: open the audio page on 3 Reels you saved this week. Note their use-count. Save any under 50k that's clearly rising.
