Net-new creative vs iterating the winner
Feeding the account — brand new concepts or variations of what works?
— Iteration (new hooks/edits on a proven winner): high hit rate, fast, low risk. Squeezes more life out of a known angle.
— Net-new concepts (totally different angle/format): lower hit rate, slower, but it's the only way to find your NEXT winner before the current one dies.
The balance most get wrong:
— Lean too hard on iteration → you ride one angle into the ground and have nothing when it fatigues.
— Run a roughly 70/30 split: 70% iterations of winners for stable spend, 30% wild swings to find the next one.
Risk: pure iteration feels safe but leaves you with zero pipeline when the angle finally cooks.
Block out 30% of this week's creatives for genuinely new angles, not just recolors.
