First look vs full approval: how much control to give

First look vs full approval: how much control to give

Brands often want to see your content before it goes live. Two levels. First look (or courtesy review) = they can see it and suggest changes. Full approval = nothing posts until they say yes.

Why it matters: a first look keeps you in charge of your own page and your voice. Full approval hands them a veto, which can mean endless edits and delays, so it should cost more and come with a revision cap.

Simple example: with first look, you post on schedule even if they're slow. With full approval, a brand sitting on your draft for two weeks holds your payment and your calendar hostage.

Your move: offer first look by default. Grant full approval only with a deadline and an edit limit attached.
