Bleeding on a scaled campaign? Cost caps capped the damage

Scaled to $4k/day on lowest-cost bidding. CPA drifted to $58 (target $40) and Meta just kept spending into the loss.

What I did:
— Switched the campaign to cost cap (you set max CPA Meta tries to hit) at $42
— Set it $2 above my real target, NOT at target — caps choke delivery if too tight
— Gave it 72 hours, ignored the dip on day 1

Spend self-throttled to $2,600/day but CPA dropped to $43. Profit per day actually went UP.

Risk: caps can flatline delivery to near-zero if your cap is below what the auction wants. Set it loose, tighten later. Test on one campaign.
