"Cloaking keeps the campaign alive"

Myth: "A good cloaker lets you run aggressive dating creative on policy platforms indefinitely."

The chats sell cloaking as a durability tool. It's a delay, not durability. A cloaker buys you a window before the platform's behavioral and human review catches up — and the window keeps shrinking as detection moves from bot fingerprinting to engagement anomalies and user reports the cloak can't hide. The moneymaker on a cloaked account isn't your margin; it's the time pressure. You're running a campaign you can never optimize calmly because the ban clock is always ticking.

Worse, cloaking corrupts your own data. Half your "learnings" are about evading review, not about what converts. When you eventually move that angle to a compliant placement, none of that knowledge transfers, because you optimized the disguise instead of the offer.

People conflate "my cloaked campaign printed for three weeks" with a business. It's a sprint with a guaranteed wall.

Reality: Cloaking rents you time, not survival, and the data you gather while hiding doesn't transfer to anything you can scale.
