Normal day-to-day reach variance is ±34% around your median (n=1,000 accounts, 30-day window)
Distribution of single-post reach vs each account's own median:
— Within ±34%: ████████ 68% of posts
— −35% to −60%: ███ 22% of posts
— Below −60%: █ 10% of posts
Most "shadowban" panic is a post landing in the normal lower tail. A true suppression event shows as a sustained 7+ day floor across all posts, not one bad Tuesday.
So what: before diagnosing suppression, plot 30 days. If you're inside one standard deviation, it's variance — not a penalty.
