Myth: the EPC shown in a network's offer feed is what you'll earn.

Feed EPC is computed mostly from top-percentile affiliates with seasoned traffic and whitelisted placements — a cohort you're not in on day one.
Read: discount any displayed EPC by 30–45% as your day-one planning number, then re-measure on your own n.
