Myth: unlimited revisions prove you're professional
Saying yes to endless edits feels like good service. It actually trains brands to never approve, and quietly destroys your hourly rate.
Why it matters: "unlimited revisions" is open-ended labor with no extra pay. Each round eats hours you priced as zero.
Simple example: $600 for a video sounds great — until version 7 lands. At that point you've earned maybe $15 an hour.
The professional move is the opposite: cap revisions and charge for extras. "Includes 2 rounds; additional rounds $75 each" sounds confident, not difficult.
Your move: write a revision limit into every quote, so "professional" means clear boundaries, not unlimited free work.
