Account suddenly spending weird and CPMs spiked? Triage a cooked account.
'Cooked' = your ad account's trust/quality dropped, delivery goes haywire. Work the checklist before nuking it.
— Check 1: account quality tab. Any flagged ads or policy strikes? Kill them first.
— Check 2: did you 0-to-100 a budget recently? Sudden spend spikes spook the algo. Roll back to last stable level.
— Check 3: too many edits in 24h? Stop touching it for 48h. Let it breathe.
— Check 4: new payment method or threshold change? That alone can throttle.
If CPMs normalize after a cool-down, it wasn't cooked, it was you poking it.
Risk: don't migrate to a fresh account on a hunch. Rule out self-inflicted first.
