The angle that hooks a cold scroller is the wrong one to retarget with, and most buyers run identical creative to both. Waste.
— Cold: pure pattern-interrupt, problem-first, no brand.
— Retarget: objection-handler. They didn't buy the first time for ONE reason. Name it.
— Common retarget objections: price, "does it actually work," "is this a scam," shipping time.
A retarget creative that just says "still thinking? here's why people hesitate and why they shouldn't" outpulls a recycled cold ad badly.
Go test it: build 3 retarget creatives, each killing one specific objection. Run against your recycled cold ad.
