New to LinkedIn Ads? Two ways to pay: <b>CPC</b> (cost per click, you pay per click) or <b>CPM</b> (cost per 1,000 impressions, you pay per 1,000 views).
Here's the rule beginners never get told: which is cheaper depends on your click-through rate, the share of viewers who actually click.
If your ad is engaging and lots of people click, CPM gets you those clicks cheaper, you're paying a flat view price but harvesting tons of clicks. If your ad barely gets clicks, CPC protects you, you only pay when someone bites.
