SOP: Publishing a money page on a content site
Run this before any review or comparison page goes live.
Stage 1 — On-page
☐ Title, H1, and meta description carry the target query (Owner: editor)
☐ Every affiliate link uses the correct tracking ID
☐ Affiliate links rel-tagged per the site's policy
Stage 2 — Trust signals
☐ Author byline, date, and disclosure block present
☐ Claims and stats link to primary sources
☐ Comparison table data verified against the merchant's live page
Stage 3 — Publish hygiene
☐ Internal links point to and from at least three related pages
☐ Submit the URL for indexing
☐ Add the page to the quarterly link-check list
Owner: editor, with a second reviewer on links. Trigger: money page ready to publish. Done-when: all affiliate links resolve to the right tracking ID and the disclosure block is live.
