A health creator loved opening with questions, but they were the wrong kind. Here's the conversion playbook. Step one: check if your question has an obvious yes/no answer. Step two: if it does, it's dead, swap to a claim the viewer disagrees with. Step three: if you must keep a question, make it one they genuinely can't answer.

Before: "Do you want to sleep better?" Obvious yes, no tension. Retention opened at 46%.
After: "The reason you wake up at 3am has nothing to do with stress."

The result: 1-second retention rose to 80%, the post pulled 128k against her 10k norm.

The principle: "do you want to be better?" answers itself and earns nothing. Replace lazy questions with a claim that makes them go "wait, what?"
