The pre-flight checklist before running a gray-hat campaign
If you run aggressive verticals, sloppy setup gets your account and your money gone. This is the safety pass, framed as risk control.
The setup
Aggressive vertical, compliance-sensitive platform. One mistake = ban and frozen balance.
The move
— Separate everything: dedicated card, dedicated profile, dedicated domain age. No reuse across accounts.
— Warm the account: small clean spend for a few days before the real push.
— Domain check: fresh domain with no prior flags, SSL valid, privacy WHOIS.
— Test the safe page from a real reviewer-geo IP, confirm it's genuinely innocuous.
— Keep balance low: never hold more in the account than you can lose. Withdraw earnings fast.
— Have account #2 fully built and warmed BEFORE you need it.
The numbers
Kept account balances under $150 each. When one got banned mid-campaign, the frozen loss was $130, not $1,400, and account #2 went live in 20 minutes.
The lesson
Assume the ban is coming. Build so it costs you a rounding error, not the business.
What I'd do differently
Warm account #2 a week earlier. Numbers illustrative, not an endorsement, manage your own risk.
