A DIY blog turned on bid logging — and found one partner never bidding
Prebid can log every bid it receives, so you can see who's actually showing up to your auction.
What happened: a DIY blog had 6 partners but flat revenue. The owner suspected one was dead weight but couldn't prove it.
What she did:
1. Switched on Prebid's bid logging in the browser console.
2. Watched 50 page loads.
3. Found one partner returned zero bids every time — a broken setup ID.
She fixed the ID. That partner started winning real auctions.
Result: revenue per thousand views rose 7% from a single corrected line of config.
In plain English: turn on logging and watch who shows up. A silent partner is usually a typo, not a no-show.
