Today: sending at a smarter hour, not more often
Frequency capping limits how often one person gets a notification. But when you send matters too. One buyer was capped at 1 per day, yet sending all of them at 3 a.m. when his audience slept.
His experiment:
— He kept the 1-per-day cap.
— He shifted his send window to 7–9 p.m. local time, when phones are in hand.
Same audience, same budget. His CTR rose from 0.5% to 0.9%, simply because the notification arrived while people were awake and scrolling.
A push notification is like a knock on a door — it works far better when someone's home.
Try this: find out what time zone your audience is in, and picture when they'd actually look at their phone. Just that mental note will sharpen your next send. Lovely progress today.
