Real talk: campaign-budget optimization is for scaling proven winners, not for finding them. The algo starves your test sets to feed one early fluke → you never learn which creative actually works. I test each creative in its own ad-set budget, find the 2 winners clean, THEN move them to a CBO campaign to scale. Separate the lab from the factory.
