Stuck in 'Learning Limited' forever? I consolidated and it cleared
Had 8 ad sets each getting 12-20 conversions/week — all stuck in 'Learning Limited' (under Meta's 50 conversions/week threshold to exit learning). Delivery was a mess, CPA all over.
What fixed it:
— Merged the 8 into 3 ad sets, pooling budget so each could hit 50+ conversions/week
— Killed my 5 weakest audiences entirely, no mercy
— Left it 7 full days, resisted every urge to tweak
All 3 exited learning by day 6. CPA tightened from a $29-$55 spread to a steady $34.
Risk: consolidating kills your audience granularity — you lose the ability to see which interest wins. Worth it to escape learning. Try it if you've got 5+ starved ad sets.
