One winner, scared to scale it? I duped it 3x instead of raising budget

Single ad set printing at $400/day, $28 CPA. Bumped budget to $800 once and it cooked (CPA doubled overnight).

So I stopped raising and started duping (copying the exact ad set into new ones):
— Duped it 3x, each new copy at the original $400
— Launched the dupes 6 hours apart, not all at once
— Killed any dupe still above $40 CPA by hour 48

Ended at $1,050/day combined, blended CPA $31.

Risk: dupes cannibalize each other in the same audience — 2 of my 3 survived, that's normal. Expect to lose one. Dupe ONE winner first and watch the overlap.
