Whitelisting goes wrong when the handoff is improvised. Run this checklist so the brand can actually run your video as a paid ad.
— 1. Confirm platform: TikTok Spark Ads or Meta Partnership Ads
— 2. TikTok: post from creator account, generate the ad code, set duration
— 3. Meta: grant partnership permissions in Settings, not just a tag
— 4. Agree the authorization window (matches usage term you billed)
— 5. Confirm the brand's ad account ID before granting
— 6. Send a one-page "how to pull the code" doc
— 7. Log the code + expiry date in your client sheet
Save this checklist. Whitelisting is a deliverable, not a favor — treat the handoff like one. Standardize it and rinse and repeat.
