The Reshoot Decision Tree (who pays for the redo)
Reshoots eat profit when you don't have a rule. Run every reshoot request through this tree before you pick up the camera.

— Was the issue in the approved shot-list brief? → If yes and you missed it: you reshoot free.
— Was the script approved and now they want changes? → New scope. Quote it.
— Technical fault (audio, focus, framing) on your end? → You reshoot free.
— Client sent wrong product / changed product? → Billable reshoot.
— "We just don't love it" but it matched the brief? → Counts as a revision round, not a reshoot.

Save this tree in your SOP. The approved brief is the referee. Standardize the decision so it's never an argument.
