The "Preview" button that saves you embarrassment
Before you hit Publish, there's a step beginners rush past: Preview.
While writing, your post is a draft (a private, unpublished version only you can see). The editor view doesn't always match how it'll truly look to visitors, fonts, spacing, and image sizes can shift.
The "Preview" button (top right, sometimes "Preview in new tab") shows your post exactly as readers will see it, without publishing it.
What to check in preview:
— Do images sit where you expect?
— Are there awkward gaps or broken links?
— On phone view, is the text readable?
Found a problem? Close the preview, fix it, preview again. Nothing is public yet.
In plain words: Preview shows your draft as real visitors will see it, so you catch mistakes before publishing.
