Quietly, EU and enterprise buyers started killing deals over where social data is stored and processed. Tools that can't offer regional hosting are getting cut from RFPs. Several vendors are scrambling to stand up EU infrastructure they should've built two years ago.
Why it matters: if you're selling into regulated clients, ask your tool where the data lives before you sign. And if your vendor suddenly announces "EU data center" — that's not a feature, that's them unblocking a stuck enterprise pipeline.
