What's a cap and why did my offer stop converting?
Q: My offer was printing money, then conversions just died midday. The offer's still live. What happened?
A: You likely hit the daily cap. A cap is the max conversions the advertiser will accept per day. Once you hit it, your conversions stop counting — but the offer often stays "live," so you keep burning traffic for nothing.
How to handle it:
— Ask your manager the daily cap before scaling: "What's the cap and what time does it reset?"
— Most caps reset at midnight in the advertiser's timezone, not yours — confirm which
— Once you prove volume, ask for a cap increase; they'll often grant it
— Have a backup offer ready to redirect traffic when you cap out
Short version: caps limit paid conversions per day; ask early and line up a backup. More Qs? Drop them.
