Low-volume offer, you optimize for purchase → algo gets 2 signals a day, learns nothing, burns cash blind.
Fix: optimize one step up the funnel where volume is 10x:
— Add-to-cart, lead-form-start, app-install before the deep event
— Feed the algo 50 cheap signals instead of 5 expensive ones
Then, only after it stabilizes, shift the optimization event deeper. Starve the algo of data and it stays dumb. Feed it the micro-event first.
