Myth: just use Instagram's built-in 'also share to Threads' toggle

Meta's native cross-share toggle gets recommended as the zero-tool solution. The myth is that it produces a proper Threads post. It pushes a link back to the Instagram content, not native text, and those link-back posts perform poorly.

Tested the native toggle against a real cross-poster for 9 days.

The correction: the free Meta toggle is convenience, not strategy. For Threads to treat content as first-class, it has to arrive as native text or media, which a real tool handles.
