Time-on-page lies. Scroll depth talks.
I stopped trusting average session time on nutra pre-landers. A 90-second average can be one whale reading + ten bounces.
Drop scroll-depth tracking instead (25/50/75/100%). What you actually want to see:
— Big drop at 25% = your hook or first claim is wrong, not your offer.
— Drop at 50% = mechanism section is boring or too "sciency."
— They reach 75% but don't click = CTA placement / pricing reveal is off.
This tells you WHICH section to rewrite instead of nuking the whole page and starting over.
You're not testing landers. You're testing sections.
Go test it.
