Q: My shoppable videos get views but almost no taps on the product. What's wrong?
A: Usually the product shows up too late. Viewers decide whether to tap in the first 2–3 seconds, but a lot of creators 'build up' to the reveal at the 0:20 mark. By then most people have scrolled. Put the product on screen and in motion immediately — using it, not sitting on a shelf.
Then give one concrete reason to tap, spoken or on-text: a price, a result, a problem it solves. 'Tap to shop' alone isn't a reason; 'this dried my hair in four minutes, tap to grab it' is.
Also worth knowing: check whether the tag is visually obvious. On muted autoplay, a product nobody connects to the on-screen item won't get tapped no matter how good the hook is.
