Sources say the change shows up as a new <code>valid_from</code> / <code>valid_until</code> pair in product feeds, enforced server-side at checkout.
Why it matters: if your code library leans on stale codes that 'sometimes still work,' that long tail is closing. Audit your top-20 by clicks for codes older than 60 days.
