You're buying a system someone runs. If only the seller knows how, you bought a problem.

— Documented processes: does the seller have written SOPs for publishing, link building, outreach? PASS = it runs without them. FAIL = the business lives in their head.
— Vendor/freelancer list: names, rates, contact, what each does. Will they stay post-sale?
— Tool stack inventory: every login, subscription, and renewal date, with cost.
— Content pipeline: where do topics, briefs, and drafts come from? Is it repeatable by you?
— The "bus factor" task: identify the one thing only the seller can do — get it documented before close.

PASS = you could run it Monday with the docs alone. FAIL = negotiate a longer paid handover into the deal.
