At close, run this line by line. Each item is checked OFF only when YOU control it, not when the seller says it's done.

— Domain: in your registrar account, unlocked, with privacy you control.
— Hosting/files: full site in your hosting, loads identically.
— Database export + fresh backup taken by you.
— CMS admin: your account is owner; seller's removed.
— Email accounts + autoresponder list exported to your ESP.
— Affiliate/ad network accounts: re-applied under your entity (not just login handover).
— Social profiles, brand assets, design files, logos.
— Any SaaS subscriptions, themes, plugin licenses.

PASS = every line is in YOUR name. FAIL = an account still on the seller's login is a future lockout.
