Organization markup fails when your brand data is incomplete, inconsistent or impossible to verify

Sitewide Organization JSON-LD helps search engines connect your name, logo, website and official profiles. Place one clear entity definition on the pages where your brand is represented, rather than publishing several competing Organization objects with different names or URLs.

Use a stable @id, usually the canonical homepage URL plus a fragment such as #organization. Keep name, url and logo aligned with visible page content. The logo should be a crawlable, indexable image that represents the organization—not a temporary campaign graphic or a tiny icon.

Add sameAs only for genuine official profiles: social accounts, company directories or knowledge-base pages that clearly identify the same entity. Do not list every mention of your brand. For contact details, use contactPoint only when the channel is real and maintained. Label the contact type accurately and avoid inventing departments, phone numbers or support hours.

Validate the JSON-LD, then inspect the rendered page and compare it with the markup. Watch for duplicate @id values, stale logos, mismatched brand names and profiles that redirect or belong to another business. Schema can clarify identity, but it cannot repair weak or contradictory site information.

Keep the entity definition small, consistent and supported by visible evidence. Review it whenever your branding, official profiles or customer-contact paths change.
