"Delete flops, they hurt your account" — false

Old advice that won't die. People archive every sub-1k Reel thinking it drags the algorithm.

I left 30 flops up for 2 months on purpose. New Reels still hit 20-50k. No account-level drag. Each Reel is scored mostly on its own.

Deleting also nukes any slow-burn — I've had Reels do nothing for 3 weeks then catch fire.

Do this: stop deleting. Instead, screenshot the first frame of your last 3 flops and ask why you'd skip them.
