The consistency cult sells you a content calendar that demands 7 mediocre posts a week. But the feed doesn't reward cadence — it rewards per-post performance, and flooding splits your own audience's attention across weak posts. Word is several big accounts cut to 3x weekly and saw total reach rise because each post got more concentrated engagement. Your scheduling tool wants you posting daily; that's its business model, not your growth strategy. Frequency is a vanity metric.
