Should I prune my old AI-written posts?
Q: I published a bunch of AI articles early on. Now I'm nervous. Should I delete them all?
A: Short answer: don't delete by *how* they were made — delete by whether they're actually any good. Longer answer: Google doesn't penalize AI content for being AI; it penalizes unhelpful, generic content regardless of origin. Some of your AI posts might be genuinely fine. Others are probably the bland, sources-nobody type that drags quality down. Judge each on value, not method.
Triage them like any prune:
— adds real value / has traffic → keep, maybe enhance with experience
— generic, no traffic, no links → cut or rewrite
— factually shaky → fix or remove fast
The lesson isn't "AI bad," it's "unedited filler bad." Audit on merit.
Anyone want me to go deeper on this? React 👍
