Geo Pulse #41 — Vetting a Tier-3 GEO before you spend a dollar
Theme of the week: kill bad GEOs on paper, not in the dashboard.
A repeatable pre-launch screen so you don't burn budget on a country that can't convert. Run it in order:
→ Step 1 — Check mobile share and OS split in StatCounter GlobalStats. If Android is above 90% and devices skew sub-$120, price your offer for it.
→ Step 2 — Pull GDP per capita (PPP) from the World Bank and divide by 30 — that's a sane daily disposable ceiling for your payout math.
→ Step 3 — Confirm at least one local payment rail exists (M-Pesa, Pix, GCash, JazzCash) via the provider's own coverage page.
→ Step 4 — Search the offer vertical in the local language on Google and note whether ads even serve there.
→ Step 5 — Check internet penetration and median connection speed in the DataReportal Digital report for that country.
→ Step 6 — Score 0–2 on each. Anything under 7/12 goes on the 'later' pile.
