<b>A "no" is just a redirect</b>
When an editor passes, most people slink off. I reply within an hour:
"Totally get it. Quick favor — who else in [niche] takes contributors? Happy to credit you for the intro."
Half ignore me, fine. The other half hand me a warm referral. A name + "so-and-so sent me" beats any cold pitch alive.
A rejection is a person who knows your niche and just engaged with you. Don't waste that.
Got 3 new sites off one no last month. Treat every no as a door to the next yes. Go do it.
