Myth: "Quiz funnels need 8+ questions to feel legit"
Trench note: I ran a 9-step weight-loss quiz against a stripped 4-step for two weeks. Everyone swears longer quizzes = more buy-in. Mine said the opposite.
— The 9-stepper had a 22% drop-off by question 4. People quit before the offer.
— The 4-step version held them and pushed lead rate up noticeably.
Long quizzes feel "legit" to you, the buyer. The user just wants the answer. Every extra question is a fresh exit door you built yourself.
Keep enough to personalize the result (age, goal, body type, one pain question). Cut the rest. The micro-commitment myth dies the second you actually watch the funnel analytics.
Go test it.
