Is an 'exclusive' offer actually a perk?
Q: A network offered me exclusive access to an offer if I commit volume. Good deal or trap?
A: Exclusivity can mean less competition on the same offer, which helps if it's a popular one bid up everywhere. But read why it's exclusive. Sometimes 'exclusive' is just a direct advertiser relationship the network locked down — genuinely good. Sometimes it's an offer nobody else wanted.
Questions to ask: Is the payout above the public market rate? Is there a volume commitment with penalties? Can you exit if it underperforms? Exclusive + bonus payout + no lock-in is great. Exclusive + flat payout + a volume promise you might miss is a leash.
Short version: exclusivity is only valuable if it comes with a better rate and a clean exit.
