Geo Pulse #52 — Anti-detect browsers vs plain browser profiles for multi-GEO accounts
Theme: when you actually need fingerprint isolation and when it's theatre.
— Plain browser profiles + a good proxy → enough for managing a handful of legit accounts across countries. Cheap, no learning curve.
— Anti-detect browser (Multilogin, GoLogin, Dolphin) → necessary when running many accounts that must look like distinct people — spoofs canvas, WebGL, fonts, timezone so they don't share a fingerprint cluster.
— Cloud-phone / mobile anti-detect → the tier above, for mobile-first platforms where desktop fingerprints alone get flagged.
— Just incognito → never. Shared fingerprint, shared cookies-by-machine; it isolates nothing platforms care about.
The match: number of accounts and platform scrutiny decide the tool, not the GEO. One DE account needs a proxy, not Multilogin.
Credit: the recurring 'do I really need anti-detect' threads on AffLift and STM.
