Q: I passed KYC but now they want 'source of funds' and my payout is stuck. Isn't ID enough?
A: KYC and AML are two different gates, and assuming ID covers both is the mistake. KYC proves who you are; AML (Anti-Money-Laundering checks) asks where the money came from and whether the pattern looks clean. Big or sudden volume triggers the second gate even when the first one passed.
What sets it off:
— Earnings jumped sharply versus your history, so the system asks you to explain the spike.
— Payout method doesn't match your profile — a personal account receiving business-scale sums.
— Mismatched countries between your ID, your traffic, and your bank.
Fix: have a paper trail ready BEFORE you scale — invoices, your advertiser contracts, traffic reports that explain the revenue. When asked, answer fast with documents that tie earnings to a legitimate, named source. Vague or slow answers extend the hold.
Short version: KYC is identity; AML is the money's origin. Keep contracts and reports ready to explain volume.
