Q: My own testing is somehow showing up as fraud in my stats. How do I stop polluting my data?

A: Very common, and embarrassing when the network notices before you do. Your QA clicks, preview opens, and reloads all look like a tiny fraud ring: one IP, one device, repeated actions, no real conversion intent.

The self-pollution patterns:

— You test the funnel from your office IP and phone repeatedly, stacking identical fingerprints.
— Link-preview bots in your team chat fire a click every time someone pastes the URL.
— Uptime monitors and screenshot tools hit the landing page on a schedule, generating phantom clicks.
— Your own redirect's health check pings the offer URL.

Fix: route all testing through a tagged parameter (like a test sub-source) that never reaches the postback. Exclude your office and known monitoring IPs at the redirect. Turn off link previews for the channel where you share URLs, or share a non-firing dummy link.

Short version: your QA, bots, and monitors are polluting stats. Tag test traffic and exclude known internal IPs.
