A/B test your setup, or trust your gut?
When you change a setting like timeout or floor, you can guess whether it helped, or split your traffic to measure it. An A/B test sends half your visitors the old setup and half the new one.
— Gut feeling: instant, free, but daily revenue swings naturally, so you'll fool yourself.
— A/B test: real proof, but you need enough traffic and patience to wait a week.
Tiny example: revenue jumps 8 percent the day after a change. Was it the change, or just a good ad day? Only a split test tells you.
1. Change one thing.
2. Split traffic 50/50.
3. Wait 7 days, then read it.
In plain English: don't trust a one-day jump; split your traffic and let the math decide.
