Why your rich result FAQ vanished

Why your rich result FAQ vanished

Today's lesson: a rich result is a normal search listing with extras bolted on — stars, prices, or a few questions that drop down, like a plain box with bonus features.

Real example: a product page shows a 4.6-star row and a couple of expandable questions right in the results.

The mistake: people write FAQ questions that are really ads — Why is our tool the best? Google's rules say these answers must be genuinely helpful, not promotion, so it quietly drops them.

The fix:
— Write questions a real customer would type: Does this work offline?
— Answer plainly and honestly, no sales pitch.
— Match the questions to what's actually on the page.

Think of it like a help desk, not a billboard. Help desks get to stay; billboards get removed.

Try this: read your FAQ aloud. If it sounds like marketing, rewrite one answer as a plain helpful reply. 🎓
