Step 1: collect 50 reaction images, tag each by emotion (smug, defeated, fake-calm).
Step 2: when niche news breaks, match the emotion in under 5 minutes.
Step 3: caption with the situation, image carries the feeling.
Step 4: log which emotions win most.
Over 8 weeks 'fake-calm' and 'defeated' drove the top shares — median 3,700 vs 900 for the rest. Tagged retrieval cut their post time from 25 minutes to 4.
The stockpile turned reactive posting into a lookup, not a hunt.
QA pass: emotion matched first, joke second; ship under 5 minutes.
