Cut the page down to ONE CTA, +22% conversions
Day 1: landing page had 5 different buttons. Day 9: it had one. Conversions went up, not down.
Setup. Control = hero CTA + nav signup + footer CTA + 'learn more' + 'see pricing.' Five competing exits. Variant = one CTA, repeated, same action every time. 3,800 sessions.
Result. Goal conversion 4.0% to 4.9%, +22%. Five choices = decision paralysis. One choice = clear next step. I stripped the nav links on the landing variant too, no escape hatches.
Funnel pages aren't websites. They're a hallway with one door.
Go audit your landing page, kill every CTA except one. Repeat that one. Report back.
