Native vs scheduled posting: the penalty that wasn't

Native vs scheduled posting: the penalty that wasn't

Everyone says: "Third-party schedulers get throttled — always post natively."

A team that posts constantly ran the clean test: 4 weeks via a scheduler, 4 weeks posting by hand, matched topics and times.

The claim: the platform punishes scheduled posts.

Median impressions: scheduled 2,400, native 2,460. A 2-3% gap that disappears into normal variance week to week.

Where the myth half-survives: a few schedulers used to mangle formatting and strip the first-comment link, and ugly formatting does hurt. So the penalty people "saw" was usually a formatting bug, not a reach throttle. Tools fixed that.

They moved back to scheduling and reclaimed 6 hours a week with no measurable cost.

The throttle was a formatting problem cosplaying as an algorithm conspiracy.

Post clean. The clock that posts it doesn't matter.
