Q: I run a creator affiliate program. Does raising commission actually get more posts, or do creators ignore it?
A: A supplement brand tested a tiered bump. At a flat 10% commission, 18 of their 200 registered creators posted that month. They added a tier: 20% commission for any creator who posted 3+ times in 30 days. Posting creators jumped to 47, and total affiliate sales rose 2.4x.
The lever wasn't the base rate, it was rewarding consistency. The 20% tier turned casual creators into repeat posters because the math suddenly justified the effort.
Also worth knowing: they kept the tier simple — one threshold, one bump. Earlier four-tier schemes confused creators and got ignored.
